With this device, it will limit the voltage to 12 volts.By using this device, it will protect the MOFI4500 unit to ensure it does not get any surge voltage.
Note this device is only needed if you are connected to a vehicle, boat, truck, etc using either the fuse box or a direct wire.
If you are using the 110/220V power supply, you do not need this item.
The MOFI4500 unit is covered under warranty for 1 year however, a damage due to a power surge is not included in the warranty so this device is a very good investment to ensure the unit does not get damage.
This model comes with a fuse jumper adapter type ATO
We also sell a model with a fuse adapter type (MINI) so if you need that, go to that listing.
For many installers, they can install this directly in the fuse box or simply cut the wire and connect to a live 12V-24V input voltage.
The other end will go to any ground.The unit has approx 19 inches of each cable (Live with fuse connection, ground and the barrel connector that goes directly into the router)
